This is not at all true... I have a DROID with an exchange account, and can confirm that the data is $29.99. From what I understand, the additional $15 only applies to Blackberry devices.

Looks like the $15 is only for business accounts. It does not apply to personal accounts. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2355249,00.asp

This has been the case since all PDA's, Blackberry's and now Droid phones. Nothing has changed, these have been the rates for a long time. It's the exchange servers fault for charging more not the cell company providing the service. Sorry to disappoint, but if a company is going to get charged extra for a service the customer wants to use, then the customer is going to get charge to use it. This is our capitalistic society at it's intended to be. I just wanted to clarify this for anyone who thinks that Verizon is the evil one, when in fact it's their employer that charges them extra not Verizon. I would use it for personal use anyway, who cares about work when your at home with your family anyways. :)

my 2 cents
