Sony’s Xperia X10 has a feature called Timescape which is a beautiful home screen menu. This video gives a nice walk through of the feature and some of it’s settings. This feature can be set as your main screen, accessed via menu or completely turned off. Most previews of this feature are pretty laggy but remember it is still in production.

Rogers to Release LG GW620 Eve

Rogers will be launching the first LG device to run the Android Operating System, the LG GW620 Eve. Specs for this device will be 5 MP auto-focus camera, slide out qwerty keyboard, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, video editor, intelligent photo gallery, 2 GB MicroSD (up to 16 GB), 480 x 320 screen and the usual Wifi, Stereo Bluetooth and GPS. Pricing depends on your contract: 3 Years – $49.99; 2 Years – $299.99; 1 Year – $349.99; No Contract – $399.99. No word yet on Android version.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Specs Released

Sony’s previous models of the Xperia ran Windows Mobile but the upcoming version will run Android 1.6. With the power this model has, I’m sure it will be running 2.0 eventually. This thing is a beast with a 4 inch screen at 450×854, 8.1 MP camera, 1GHz CPU, 8GB Micro SD, WiFi, Bluetooth, Micro USB, A-GPS, & HSPA. Here’s a promo video from Sony.

Early Pictures and Video of the Motorola DROID

A friend of mine got some pics and a video of another friend of mine’s Motorloa DROID. The video shows the boot up of the DROID and some pics show the back of the device, the qwerty keyboard, and the front.

HTC Droid Eris Also Launching November 6th, $99

Recently leaked documents are showing that the HTC Droid Eris will also be launching on November 6th. It will start at $199 with a $100 mail in rebate. Unfortunately it will only be running Android 1.5 but will hopefully be upgraded to 2.0 shortly. Features include: 3.2″ touch screen, virtual QWERTY keyboard, 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, 5MP camera with auto focus and video capture, 528MHz processor, and a 8GB Micro SD card included.
